Economists Expect April Inflation Rate to Increase According to AA Finans Survey
According to the survey conducted by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) and to be announced on Monday, May 5th by AA Finans, the expectation survey regarding the April inflation data, which was participated by 17 economists, has been concluded.
The average of economists’ inflation expectations for April is 3.24 percent. Economists’ inflation expectations for April ranged from 2.75 percent to 3.80 percent. According to the average of economists’ inflation expectations for April (3.24 percent), it is predicted that the annual inflation, which was 38.10 percent in the previous month, will increase to 38.18 percent.
On the other hand, economists’ end-of-2025 inflation expectation was 31.16 percent as of April.
The Consumer Price Index recorded a 2.46 percent increase in March. Economists’ inflation expectations and actual figures for the months of 2025 are as follows:
